Who are we?
Cardinal Outreach to Diversify and Educate in Computer
Science (Code CS) is an initiative sponsored by the National Center of Women in
Information Technology and led by a group of passionate, tech-savvy high school
students. Our goal is to provide early exposure to computer science related topics
that will catalyze gender diversigy in technology related fields. The participants
will be introduced to a designated topics, for example in previous years have done
app design, programming and game design / building and looking to more in the near
future. A chosen topic will allow the participants to work collaboratively while
devoloping other critical life skills! In the next coming year we have or will make
projects that will emphasize enviormental health. We will also hear from guest speakers
with successful careers in technology

- COVID 19 has a great impact on the final Code cs meeting of the previous session. It was heartbreaking to see the girls work so hard on their projects that they weren't able to present.
